Mom's Tulip Garden

Begin this fancy design with an 8" x 8" square handle attached into a 5-1/4" x 7" Racetrack oval wooden base. Twine, twill, 4-rod wale in pairs, descend and do a handle wrap embellished with tulips. Rim is a Gretchen Border with half natural, half colored spokes. Lots of techniques and you will also learn to create tulip flowers to embellish each side. Shaping is emphasized to achieve this sweet tulip flare. Variety of colors available.
