Evergreen Treasure

This little Winter Treasure looks great filled with pine cones for winter, then add candy canes for the holiday season or a great candy dish. It begins with a 2" x 3-1/2" slotted base and has a 3-1-1-2 twill using my Evergreen Space Dyed Reed. The top is woven with natural 4-rod wale in pairs and then 4-rod wale beginning with all smoked reed and changing to all natural. The great part of this basket is that because of the curve at the top, there is no need for a rim. Once you have tucked your spokes, your done! It is embellished with untwisted green seagrass, ivory pip berries and a pine cone which is all included in the kit.
