This large impressive basket begins with a pre-stained & varnished 11" round slotted base and has all black and smoked reed. Along with start/stop weaving, triple twining and triple twining in pairs you will learn to make these awesome bleached hamburg cane knots to overlay into the center of the basket. You will go back to the basics and form your own handles and wrap with them in black reed and embellish with triple cross overs in caning. You will also learn a blanket stitched laced rim with heavy waxed linen.
